If you are a first-timer on anything website design and development related, you would've probably realised by now that there are a few requirements to be met before any work can get started. This page intends to shine a light on some of those requirements and some other points that I am regularly asked as an Experienced Freelance web developer in Pakistan.

You will need a web hosting provider and a registered domain name. They are prerequisites to run a website and must be in place as soon as the project moves from the design phase into development. In essence, the web hosting provides you with an online space on the World Wide Web and the domain name (URL) is the path to that space. They can (and should) be bought from and registered with the same provider *

The hosting package is one of the main factors for website speed so it’s very important to choose wisely - I would be happy to help with it and get everything registered and setup properly. There are quite a few options out there but after disappointing experiences with some of the most advertised providers, I came across (BlueHost) many years ago and have been using them since for my personal projects and would strongly recommend them to you as well.

it depends. It depends on the style of website you’re looking for as they will require different types of functionality (informational, online shop, portfolio, etc), it depends on what you need me for in terms of services (web design or web development or both) and also, it depends on how much extra work will be required from me (photo editing, external plugins integration, etc).
Once we've fully discussed what your website needs to achieve I can provide you with an exact cost which we are confident will give you a return on your investment.
You can also visit my Prices page for general detailed information about website prices.

The answer is virtually the same as for the question above. To give you an idea, very basic websites can take between 4 to 6 weeks and more complex ones 8 to 12 weeks.

If you're only looking for customisations and updates on an existing website, the ideall way of geeting a quote and time frame is by sending me a "list of changes" you want to implement. In some cases I may need a bit more information but most of time I'm able to provide you with a quote and time frame straight away.

I am proud to say that I have kept long lasting relationships with my clients and I’m always on hand to help them whenever needed with updates and further developments. Those are usually charged on an hourly bases.

Payment is split into two*- stages at key milestones of the project. 50% Advance payment before staring project and then the final 50% before going live with your website.

Structure and content - I ask for draft content during the Structure and content stage of the project. This allows us to discuss how your content should be structured to ensure it delivers your goals. Final copy is needed before the Website build stage.
Photos - High resolution images of your product or service is essential to do your business justice. If you don’t have these yet we can discuss the type of shots and styling which would be required.
Branding - A vector version (ai, eps, pdf or svg file) of your logo is required if possible, and any other branding/marketing assets you have. If you are missing any of these let me know on initial contact and I'll be able to put you in touch with freelancers to help.

Yes! I'm based in Pakistan, but I work remotely with clients all over the globe. I use a project management system which makes working together from any location easy.

Absolutely, all Marketing Websites are built on a Content Management System (CMS). This means you can edit and add content to the site. A training session will be provided to make sure you are confident with updating your website

I will build your website with on-page SEO and ensure that Google’s search-bots can crawl your website with ease. I will make sure the website is well structured, validates to the latest web standards, images are optimised, contains all fields for meta data, friendly URL structure and is fast to load.

For a 14 day period after your website goes live I'll fix any bugs that occur. This does not include additional work to the site, a ongoing maintenance package can be discussed.

I don't as I feel it’s important the client has complete control of their website domain and hosting. I will happily make recommendations and help you get setup, including any email addresses you need.

It is recommended that you should purchase an SSL certificate. Customers are becoming increasingly more informed about the safety of the internet. If they can see your website has gone that bit further to be secure it can only help their impression of you. Google is also rewarding websites that have an SSL with higher rankings.

It depends on the amount of information you need to display on your site. If there are many products and services then we can incorporate it with the database.

Yes I do. I can redesign, holding your company embodied style or we can redesign to give you a entire new image.

My Development Approach

Requirement Discussion

Start by requesting an initial free estimate – it only takes a few minutes. We can then discuss my proposal and go into more detail around what you’re looking for in a website. After this process you have a pretty good idea of what you'll get and I will know in more detail what I will be building.

Content and structure

I strongly believe in content and structure before design. The most important part of a website is your content, because that’s what your clients and customers are engaging with. Content is at the heart of how your visitors perceive your business and is also fundamental to how search engines rank you.

Creating the design

After working out the requirements you can have a design produced based on the functionality you need. A design will ensure your product or site appeals to the right audience. It provides clarity, ease of use and leads to a higher conversion rate and a return on your investment.

Building your site

The build phase is straight forward. We will use everything compiled so far such as designs, wireframes and requirements to now jump straight into creating your product or website.

Going live

Once you've done your final user acceptance testing and are confident your requirements have been met, I will setup your production hosting environment. Finally, I'll deploy your site live.
